Out of Limbo

Our project seeks to reclaim agency for users who are feeling anxiety from virtual fatigue, which triggers a feeling of being “stuck in limbo” causing a person to get trapped in the moment.

We are prototyping a mobile AR experience that uses the front facing camera of a phone or tablet. The camera uses a selfie-like approach to draw you into these alternate realities that are visually a cross between space and the inner workings of the body. By exploring boundaries between different realities (virtual and physical) the user will have the ability to choose their own reality.

Currently works on Android mobile only.
